My Story
I started my sales career selling liquor. I was good at it, but I couldn't shake the feeling I was selling something that caused more harm than good, so I walked away.
I broke into medical device sales believing this was the industry where I could really help people. Then I got laid off. I rebuilt, gained traction, and got laid off again. I picked myself back up, and got laid off a third time.
Three layoffs in a row, in the same industry I'd bet my career on. Most people would have blamed the industry, blamed luck, and moved on. Instead, I got honest with myself. I wasn't unlucky. I wasn't good enough yet. I didn't have a system, or the mindset elite performance requires.
So I invested in myself. In books, mentors, and studying the best reps in the business, and rebuilt my approach from the ground up. The result has been five consecutive President's Club wins and recognition as the number one rep in the country, twice.
I'm still a student of the craft, but I've learned what actually moves the needle in medical device sales, and I share it here: what's working, what elite reps do differently, and how to build it into your own game.
If you're a medical device rep working toward the top, or a sales leader who wants to understand what elite performance looks like from the inside, you're in the right place.
